Perimeter profiles for terraces
BORDERTEC BOS: Edge protection profiles for terraces and balconies.
Perimeter profile for finishing and protecting the exposed concrete edge of balconies and terraces designed for pavements that extend laterally from the underlying slab. The profile is equipped with a drainage angle sloping outward, to also protect the Draintec 8 drainage membrane placed beneath the slab and above the waterproofing blanket. The profile is also suitable to act as a drip edge by placing it beneath the drainage and insulation membrane. Leave an adequate gap between the different elements for thermal expansion, masking the joint with the connecting element.
Installation of BORDERTEC BOS profiles
• Choose the appropriate profile for the thickness of the screed. • Place it along the edge of the surface to be tiled and install it at the same time as you lay the tile.
