Perimeter profiles for terraces
BORDERTEC BCS: Perimeter profiles for ceramic terraces.
Bordertec BCS is a perimeter profile for finishing and protecting the edge of exposed concrete for balconies and terraces with 12.5 mm high ceramic. It features a top tooth for finishing and containing the tile covering when it is installed at the same level as the mortar. Designed for installation with adhesive.
BORDERTEC BCS has an outward sloping angle to facilitate drainage.
The profile has an outward sloping drainage angle, also to protect the Draintec 8 drainage membrane placed beneath the mortar and above the waterproof membrane. Leave an adequate space between the different elements for thermal expansion, covering the joint with the connecting element.
Installation instructions for BORDERTEC BCS:
• Choose the height profile corresponding to the height of the tile and suitable for the thickness of the mortar. • Place it along the edge of the surface to be tiled and install it simultaneously with the placement of the tile.
