STAIRTEC SWP Protruding touch pin made of stainless steel for stairs
Stairtec SWP is a special stainless steel mushroom from the SWR series with a visible part that protrudes 5 mm to allow for obstacle signaling, which can be used on stairs, as well as on walkways or dedicated corridors. It can be used on marble, stone, or wooden stairs or floors in combination with SWR. The execution and installation can be carried out both in the laboratory and directly on site, preparing a simple hole at the suggested axis distance of 70 mm. Combined with wood, it is sufficient to make a hole of 6.5 mm in diameter and insert the SWP product. In the case of marble, stone, or ceramic stairs, it is preferable to make a hole of 7 mm in diameter and secure the piece with an appropriate adhesive for the substrate. The vertical striation will favor mechanical bonding with the stainless steel piece.
