STRIPTEC ST: profiles for joining floors of different thicknesses (maximum 5 mm)

The STRIPTEC profiles are used to join floors of the same or different materials and thicknesses. The rounded shape of the profile allows for slight rotation, compensating for level differences of up to 5 mm. The application of STRIPTEC corrects any chipping of the flooring or imperfect alignment during the cutting phase by covering the joint. They can also be used as terminals for coverings with a thickness not exceeding 5 mm.

How to install STRIPTEC profiles

Steps to follow for the installation of the self-adhesive version of STRIPTEC: 1) Check that the surface is solid, flat, clean, dry, and degreased. 2) Cut the profile to the required length, remove the protective paper. 3) Apply the profile with uniform pressure without hammering. Steps to follow for the installation of the STRIPTEC version with holes: 1) Cut the profile and mark the position of the holes. 2) Insert the plugs and screw them in with suitable countersunk screws for the intended slots in the profile.
