BORDERTEC BBS: Perimeter profiles for finishing and edge protection in concrete.
BORDERTEC BBS is a perimeter profile for finishing and protecting the edges of balconies and terraces for 10 mm high ceramics, with a small upper tooth for finishing and containing the ceramic covering, where it is placed at the same level as the plastering. Designed for installation with adhesive.
Drainage angle in the terminal profiles for terraces BORDERTEC BBS
The profile is equipped with a drainage angle sloping outward, also to protect the Draintec 8 drainage membrane placed beneath the subfloor and over the waterproof membrane. Leave an adequate space between the different elements for thermal expansion, concealing the joint with the connecting element.
Installation instructions for BORDERTEC BBS terrace edge profiles:
• Select the profile with the height corresponding to the height of the tile and suitable for the thickness of the screed. • Place it along the edge of the surface to be tiled and install it simultaneously with the placement of the tile.
